Le projet Face to face tire son nom du film de Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill volume 2, le film est chapitré et le 5ème chapitre s'appelle Face to Face. Face to face se traduit par "face à face" et je trouvais que le projet face to face qui consiste en une serie de portrait s'inscrit bien dans cette image de faire face aux oeuvres.
The Face to Face project is named after Quentin Tarantino's film Kill Bill Volume 2, the film is chaptered and the 5th chapter is called Face to Face. Face to face can be translates as "face à face" and I found that the face to face project who consisting of a series of portraits fits well into this image of facing the works.

ici c’est une référence à l’adaptation éponyme réalisé par Tom Tykwer , Lana et Lilly Wachowski en 2012, du roman de David Mitchell publié en 2004. La référence étant ici, que cette série se concentre sur des paysages représentant le ciel.

Un vrai cinglé de cinéma est un film sorti en 1956 et réalisé par Frank Tashlin avec Dean Martin et Jerry Lewis. le projet hollywood or bust, vise à regrouper les oeuvres représentant les artistes, or le personnage principal de ce road movie cherche à aller à hollywood lui qui est passionné par le cinéma et les artistes, c’est donc ici une sorte d’écho à cette fascination qu’entretient tout un chacun envers le monde artistique.

Le projet Homecoming tire son titre du film d'horreur americain 1408 réalisé par Mikael Hafstrom. Le film est adapté de la nouvelle eponyme de Stephen King. Dans le premier quart d'heure du film, une fan de l'ecrivain Mike Enslin, le personnage principal (joué par John Cusack), lui tend son premier livre The Long Road Home. The Long Road Home peut se traduire par "le long chemin du retour", tandis qu'homecoming, lui, veut dire en francais "retour à la maison"

Metropolis -> Metropolis, Fritz Lang, 1927
Pour ma série sur la ville de Paris, j'ai rendu hommage à Fritz Lang, et son chef d'oeuvre Metropolis. Paris est une capitale iconique, métropolis (la ville où se déroule l'intrigue de Lang), est une mégalopole. Les deux partagent un fort contraste entre deux populations, une aisée et une plus pauvre. Et les deux sont emblematiques visuellement. Et Fritz Lang est un génie, l'hommage était normal voir obligatoire.
For my Paris-based series, I paid tribute to Fritz Lang, and his masterpiece Metropolis. Paris is an iconic capital, metropolis (the city where the plot of Lang unfolds), is a megalopolis. Both share a strong contrast between two populations, a wealthy and a poorer. And both are emblematic visually. And Fritz Lang is a genius, the homage was normal and even obligatory.

cette série s'appelle sticky fingers, elle regroupe uniquement mon travail sur le support des stickers, l'album sticky fingers se traduit par "les doigts collants", les stickers étant eux même collant, le lien se fait tout seul. Et que j'adore cet album aussi.

Life is strange est un jeu/film interactif réalisé par le sudio parisien Dontnod Entertainment. sortit sur PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows et iOS. L'histoire se concentre sur le personnage de Maxine Caulfieldqui est étudiante en photographie, qui se confronte à une série d'évenements liés au voyages dans le temps. Dans ce jeu, le polaroid prend une place assez emblématique. la référence viens du titre POLARIZED qui est le titre de l'épisode 5 du jeu intitulé lui aussi Polarized.

Ce tryptique de sticker représentant Vladimir Poutine privé respectivement de ses yeux, de sa bouche et de ses oreilles est inspiré du tryptique de sculpture japonais: Mizaru, Kikazaru et Iwazaru.
"Les singes de la sagesse" sont originaire de Chine. Le nom de ce tryptique est un jeu de mot, zaru étant une ancienne forme de négation dans la langue japonaise qui ressemble à saru qui veut dire singe (ces trois sculptures représentent des singes). Mizaru, Kikazaru et Iwazaru signifient littéralement: « Ne vois pas », « N'entends pas », « Ne parle pas ». Cette maxime trouve ses premieres traces dans le travail de Confucius (479 av. J.-C. à 221 av. J.-C.) « De ce qui est contraire à la bienséance, ne pas regarder, ne pas écouter, ne pas le dire, ne pas le faire».
